Bot Resources

Late 2023. Consulting gig. 3,000 technical documents. 3-week deadline.

I'd been experimenting with GPT-3.5 since release. So I built a RAG system. It helped, but not enough. Then I tried proper context engineering instead – giving agents exactly what they need to see, not making them search for it.

It worked.

Three weeks later, I shut it down. Mission complete. Then a phone call: "The system's down, can you fix it? We use it every day."

That's when I knew. I found the right partners, convinced them agents were the future, and 9 months later Bot Resources was born.

Best decision of my life.

Three months after founding, we signed our first client contract. We've been building ever since.
